Yoga Nidra to Benefit the United Way of Greater Nashua

Yoga Nidra is a special guided meditation technique that is done while lying down.
  
Nidra uses a systematic method of inducing complete physical, mental, and emotional relaxation. Yoga nidra strengthens the immune system, balances emotions, recharges vital energy level, and enhances creativity.
Yoga Nidra is also known as Yogic Sleep. Lucid sleeping is among the deepest possible states of relaxation while still maintaining full consciousness.

-All that is required of you is that you lie down and listen.

-Wear light, loose clothing. Bring a mat, a light blanket to cover your body, a small towel to pad the back of the head & one to cover eyes. If you experience lower back pain, bring a pillow to support your knees.

-Yoga Nidra should be practiced on an empty stomach. Allow 3 hours for digesting a heavy meal, 1/2 an hour for the settling of light refreshment.
